Assia Khashoggi is an experienced integrative psychotherapist and counsellor who uses art and play therapy, for children and adults, both individually and in groups. With her colleague and partner Tala Alsoleiman, they offer a variety of workshops for children, adolescents, and adults to help improve various aspects of their lives; these include strengthening self-esteem, working on relationships, coping strategies…etc, as well as a multitude of parenting workshops and parenting sessions. Assia began her career in Saudi Arabia working for almost two years as a college counsellor and lecturer in Psychology, teaching, providing psychotherapy and counselling, as well as creating and implementing the ‘A Better Life’ Workshop series at CBA College in Jeddah. Assia obtained her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Brown University, Rhode Island, USA and her Masters degree in Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling from the School of Psychotherapy and Counselling (SPC) at Regent’s College in London, England (Validated by City University). She worked and trained with both adults and children all over London; at SOAS University, Waterloo Community Multi-Ethnic Counselling Service, Kensington and Chelsea College, ‘Place to Be’ at English Martyrs Primary School, and with renown art therapist Vicky Barber at several primary schools and the Lambo Day Center.
